Does anyone know anything about salmonella. If I have a chick with higher than normal salmonella levels is there a way to get it off or get rid of it. If I have read this right the beaks and feet are the worst areas can I clean it off. And will this affect the eggs when they start producing. They are two months old now.We have 3 of them. We are so in love with the babies as we call them. We do handle them alot they are like part of the family but we do wash well after handeling. None of my family has gotten sick just wondering. Also is there a risk with putting them out with the bigger chickens. We have two full grown girls who are 1 year old. We have them seperated right now because they are on different feeds. Layer for the big girls and grower for the babies. Thank You.
