I have four hens and a rooster they are a little over a year old now they were laying great last late summer and fall totally stopped in the winter now that it's warming up good they are still not laying from what I read they are supposed to lay better than most breeds in colder weather but I havnt found this true any ideas or suggestions would be great

not all chickens will conform to breed standard, if they are over 1 they will start slowing down on laying.
