I just wanted to step up and Introduce myself. I had chickens a LONG time ago as a 4-h project, but recently came across a GameCock at a flea market and thought he was beautiful and had to buy him and his girl. Since then Ive added 4 more chicks that grew up to be 2 hens and 2 roos (Barred breed of some type... pics on the picture albums) and my grand nieces gave me two chicks they hatched in school that are two white hens now. None are laying yet, the cock and 3 hens are in a coop and run, the two barred roos and 2 white hens are free range.
Sad thing is im already wanting to increase the flock. lol. There are just some AMAZING chicken breeds out there, and I WANT THEM ALL.
So i plan on being an active member of the forums and wanted to say hello.
