So I went back to the feed store to get a (or more) replacement, because three is not enough:/. They had told me on the phone they had Barred Rocks, but all they had was Roos. No thanks, so I ended up getting two more BO from the same batch my girls came from. They are all Just 6 weeks now. (I thought they were older) The two new girls (Matilda and Fiona) are completly feathered and my three (Ovie, Sasha and Backi) are still getting rid of down. Is this something to worry about? The new girls where kept at a constant temp, and mine have been going in and out.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Some chicks just grow at different paces. I have 2 new chicks and you would swear that 1 of them is NOT from the same hatch...WAY bigger than the other two.

Not at all. If everyone is eating, drinking, pooping, and otherwise active, and feathers that are in are normal, then no worries. I have a few that are almost completely feathered out at almost 4 weeks and everyone else from the same hatch is about 1/2 way there. They'll all wind up with their feathers, some just a little sooner than others:)

Well mine are lots sweeter anyway,
