Okay at first I thought these two chicks were the same breed, but now that they have feathered up I'm not so sure... One has spots on the underside and the other has more lines...

Not a clue as to what they might be, but....To me they seem to be different. Different patterns on the body, as well as the yellow vs. red/brown on the heads
Also, aren't their feet different colors?

I think these things should come with user manuals with pics of all stages!

The top chick reminds me of a cornish, but the color is wrong. What kind of comb does the first one have? It would be cool if it stayed that golden mottled color. The second one is a partridge rock cockerel.

I think it is a pea comb... I'm not that familar with comb types... It is not a row, and it doesn't look like the EE comb... does that help?

The first one could be a gold laced wayndotte, but yeah... I don't think they are the same breed either.

It is Wyandotte and it is pronounced Why-an-dot (with an emphasis on the first syllable.

The second picture you have is a Partridge Rock Rooster. Below is a picture of one of mine at about 5 weeks old.

Not sure what the first chick is....
