San Antonio

Is anyone showing at San Antonio in February -- IS there a poultry show there? My kids are going to show their barrows and I was just wondering. I know that we saw the poultry winners when we were at Ft. Worth last January (2008). Thought it was pretty cool, and that was before I had chickens!

San Antonio does not have an exhibition poultry show and hasn't for many years.

In the 20's and 30' they had one of the premier shows in the country with numerous APA nationals

I was looking forward to meeting some BYC'ers there! I hope that we are moved to our new house by then!

What about Austin, Houston or Dallas? Any poultry shows in
Texas?

I know that at Ft. Worth they had beautiful chickens there. They were in the walkway between I THINK the swine and lambs ??? In cages. I believe the show was earlier that week before we all showed up.
