Sand for dust bath question

Ok... So we are going to give our new chickies a kiddie pool with sand for a dust bath and I have a question about which sand to use.
Construction sand or play sand? There is a big difference in price and that is a factor but if everyone recommends the play sand we will pay for that .......

So what does everybody think?

I've used both just because that's what I had around and they honestly do not care. They use it and then dig holes in the dirt too for baths. The next time I have to replenish the sand dust bath I'll go with cheaper stuff.

I never use the play sand. For one,it's too expensive but also the construction sand seems to drain better and not pack so tightly in the dusting box. The girls seem to like it just fine!
