For those of you who use sand in your coop how do you keep the dust down?
We recently purchased a 10x12 shed and transformed it into our chicken coop. With our last coop I used the deep litter method. This time after researching I used sand. All purpose arena sand from Lowe’s that says on the bag can be used with animals. I scoop it once sometimes twice a day and it’s so easy, but the dust is getting really bad.
I don’t want the chickens or me to get sick from all the dust. What can I add to or do to fix this??
