Sand in run

i have access to free sand for in my run, question is
The salt has 4% road salt in it. Would that be ok for the chickens or will it harm them

I wouldn’t use it, salt is really bad for chickens and they will end up ingesting it.

They will not only ingest it but it will eat into their feet over time and cause permanent damage.
