So I have several inches of sand in my run and I was wondering what you do for maintenance?

Do you scoop out the poop once in a while (like kitty litter)?
    Do you water it down?
    Or just leave it?

Quote:I scoop the poop every few days, and add more sand every now and then. Now that it's hot, we do either spray it down or run misters. The girls love to sand bathe in the damp sand.

I rake it once a week and once a month run the tiller through it. We run the misters every day during the hottest part and they lay in the damp sand
