Sapphire gem or blue Plymouth Rock

Here are some pics of Paisley
Sorry, issues with pics loading! There’s a few of Paisley, chicken in question as well as a couple of Snowball. Big difference in comb & waddles. Lost track of how old they are. Got all of them from TSC April 30th. We have 12 total.

He's definitely a cockerel. The yellow skin is throwing me off.

@Rhodebar Lover
He appears to be blue imo. I honestly think he still might be a Sapphire Gem and a cockerel. In the chick picture it almost looks like he had a head spot. It's super hard to see barring in blue birds, I think his is just faint? Update in a few weeks/months. I believe the barring will show up in the saddle and hackle areas. It seems that many Gems develop the barring with age! Here's an example picture of the barring coming in with the sex feathering!

Thank you all for your thoughts/replies. Like I said before, I’ve got NO experience with any other chickens other than RIR & tbh, breed doesn’t matter although I bought all under the assumption they were female. Long as it’s only 1 out of 12 we are good! I’ll post more pics of all my feathery chicks in a few wks.

Interesting. I mean SG would be the most likely answer, I've just never seen a cockerel that looks so solid. Good to know!
