sapphire gems gender

i have 2 sapphire gems that are maybe 7 or 8 weeks old i'm guessing. we bought them the end of March at Tractor Supply. i'm trying to find out what gender they are. all i have are the head shots so i don't know if that will help anyone with helping me figure out the gender of these 2 gems.

These look like cockerels. Did they have a white/light grey head spot as chicks? They are sex linked, so you can tell at hatch. So sorry.

the first one is 100% cockerel, the second one is maybe 90%..

agreed.. they don't look quite like saphires. plus they have the crest... maybe a crested cream legbar crossed with a barred rock?

There is something called a Sapphire Olive Egger, probably this.

Also they dont look purbreed because one of them has the feathers on its head and one of them doesnt...

They are a 'created' breed with a range of appearance.
