Hello everyone!
I was hoping someone would be able to help me out here, I recently came into some chicks! I was told they are sapphire gem chicks? But I'm not sure any way I was hoping I could find out if they are hens or roos. My town won't allow roos sadly but here are some pictures of my 4 new chick :) if I did it right the colored dots should match the chicks in the pictures. Thank you for any help!! :)

Believe your Orange dot is a Roo.
Please don't use my thought's though as
Confirmation. they are way better folk's
whom know way more than I do.

Most of them are still sleeping most likely just
didn't want to think no one was paying attention
to your request for help.
Thank you :) I figured most people might be sleeping lol the orange dot ( tiny tim) was the one I was worried about the most. It's always the favorite =/

The orange is a cockerel,
I’m really starting to like those saphire gems, I picked out 3 at the feed store and they are buties, they are supposed to lay up to 290 large eggs a year!
That's really cool! I got these 4 from someone who didn't realize that they how fast and couldn't give them a adequate home but they said they got them from ruralking so I'm hoping they are actually sapphire gems :)

Btw, I had a chick I helped hatch out last summer and totally fell in love with. Then he started crowing. This is handsome George today, or, a few months ago with his 4 barnyard mix ladies.

We chose to move somewhere cockrel friendly ;) Actually, we had been planning our farm for a while, but it worked out on timing. He lived as a crowing house rooster for several weeks to a few months before we were able to move him and his duck friend Nibbler. You also could see if you can find a farm or something locally where he can go. Being a boy doesn't mean he has to go to freezer camp if you don't want him to. :)

He's so pretty!! I was looking into rooster collars so hopefully if they work as well as they say I'll try that :)
