Here are my jewels from days old to now, They were hatched the 3rd of Jan and the 9th. I love that they are either white or a super light silver, some have some serious splashes some just some darker gray tints. 1 is a cockerel for sure.

Does anyone have a photo of a Meyer Hatchery Sapphire Jewel? Every time I try to search, the photos are all Gems not Jewels. Even Meyer Hatchery's photo is of day old chicks only. I know they are hybrids and they don't all look same. But surly somebody somewhere has a photo of at least one Sapphire Jewel.

Following-- Id even love to see a pic of a pullet Sapphire Jewel. I ordered 10. Fingers crossed they are worth the $$. Its not an inexpensive chick

I have 16 that are 7/8 weeks old and another 10 that are a week old. I want to play either them and breeding. I certainly hope they lay well. I want to breed for homozygous blue throughout the flock, pea combs and a splash or light gray feather pattern consistently. It'll probably take me 3 years but I wanted to start with a prolific blue layer with a single feather coloring, these fit the bill.
