Sasso

This article might help.

Are Sasso’s a heritage breed?
It might depend on your definitions of heritage or definition of breed, but not really. They have been around since the 1950's but so have the Cornish Cross. I certainly do not consider CX to be a breed or heritage chicken.

Do they lay eggs well? Looking for others with experience in this area.
I have no experience with Sasso. You can see what that article has to say about egg laying. It can be really variable.

There was a very knowledgeable keeper on one of my posted threads who shared info on Sasso - he'd raised them for years. I'd search it up but can't right now. You might try looking for Sasso in threads I've started.
