I hate those freak accidents.

I lost my favorite roo last year because he got his head stuck in a cup and sufficated. I really hope something like that never happens again to you. That's a lovely grave you made for your girl. She should be honored to have such a nice resting place. Time heals all wounds.

I'm so sorry!!!!!!! I know how you feel I recently lost one of my babies due to a small predator maybe a mouse or something but it was probably small I was so upset! Cried for hours.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

It probably won't make you feel better, but we lost one of our hens exactly the same way a few weeks ago: a section of a heavy wooden fence fell on her and broke her neck...
