Satan in the form of a rooster strikes again

I'd given him lots of chances. He came after my husband several weeks ago and I hit him with a level (we were working on the coop) so hard I thought I had killed him. After that he didn't bother me so I guess I let my guard down but he didn't forget. I have one BO rooster that's 21 weeks old left. He's so pretty and doesn't have spurs yet but..he'll be buzzard food too if he attacks me. Even after a week I still have bruises and sores where he got me.

See what my rooster did to me last Saturday. He got me from behind on my right leg and then came around and got me on my left leg. My husband took me to the hospital for antibiotic shot and some pain meds. I couldn't stand on my left leg by that night, the swelling and pain were pretty bad. The buzzards got a free meal that evening.

Goodness gracious! Mine isn't bad about flogging, he bites! Hope you're feeling better!

That is awful. Jeez! We toy with the idea of giving our rooster back to nature but haven't yet. That would have been it for me.

I would have done the deed myself but my left foot was so swollen I couldn't walk so I got out my wheelchair from when I stepped out of the boat wrong in the driveway and broke both bones and crushed my lower knee on my right leg (2/2013).
