Save Building materials

Hi friends,

i am currently in the process of turning my duck-porch into a winter-proof duck-house and i wonder what kind of building materials are safe around ducks? I am using

• Treated Lumber (yellawood)
• Plastic resin laminate
• Liquid Nail heavy construction glue
• White Silicone
• Nails, screws, staples (yes, i know not to let any metal lying around)
• Tarp
• Chicken Wire

I am particular concerned about the silicone and the liquid nails, i've read here that ducks love to nibble away Styrofoam and i have seen my Duckies nibble away the sticker on my poultry waterer (i could not remove that, they could!)
What are your experiences and recommendations?

I wouldn't leave anything exposed that will catch their eye. If you use the liquid nails and silicone make sure it isn't exposed.
