Save the Monarch Butterfly - Milkweeds For Sale

My son is cultivating Milkweeds to help save the Monarch Butterfly (and to raise money for a new bike!) They'll be ready for sale in a month. I expect him to sell a lot locally, but they are quite hearty and should be able to be shipped, too.

We are in Los Angeles' "South Bay," zip codes 90254, 90266-67, 90501-90510, 90272-90278.

That's a great project! If these are not native milkweeds, please let those who buy them know that they should be cut back each season to help prevent the spread of OE (monarch butterfly parasites). https://xerces.org/blog/tropical-milkweed-a-no-grow I hope he enjoys it and quickly earns enough for his bike!

That is a Pacific Yellowtail, a member of the Jack family. Not a pretty pic though! : - )

Ah, my husband would have known right away probably. Doesn't matter how pretty it is as ling as it tastes good!
