Hi we just found 3 white turkeys that were attached by a fox. We rescued them. Maybe the
Coop got attached by a predator close by. We try to find the owners. Do you know what type of turkeys are this ? And is they can fly ? They barley walk. Any recommendation will
Be appreciative.
Thanks.
Marcelo

They look like meat turkeys to me, plus the fact that you say there can nearly walk. I don't know to much about Turkeys though, so don't take my word for it. How do you know they were attacked? They don't look like they have any wounds?
Thanks for your reply. They are 15/18 pounds each. They have open wounds under the winds.

They're either midgit whites, Holland whites or Broad breasted whites. I can't see anything that would help scale wise. Odds are broad breasted since you said they have a hard time walking
Thanks for your reply. We try to understand is they waled arround the neighborhood or somebody throw them close to the pond ( most likely ) The Fox was all over them in the middle is the day. M.

Those are broad breasted, their legs are very thick and it looks like one has their beak clipped back like they do the BB's. They cannot fly, as they grow way too heavy. Poor things, they're very cute though.

Thanks. They are doing well. I can’t imagine people go all the way to raise them and throw them away in a snow storm. Thanks for the advise. M.
