We had vultures in the empty overgrown lot next to us. We went to scare them away and I saw a dead duck, about 3 feet from the duck in an overgrown area we found a nest. 1 egg was completely opened, the top was about 3ft from the nest and was completely empty. We found 7 others in the nest. A few I could clearly tell didn’t develop. But we are trying to figure out with these. We were able to get an incubator off Facebook for use and have had them in there for the last day. Temp is 100 and humidity about 60-65 ranging. I don’t mind waiting to see if they hatch but I’d rather know ahead or know roughly how much longer till we know if our clueless efforts have paid off and saved these poor little ducks. Sorry for the crappy photos. I have no clue what I’m really doing here and never thought I’d be here. I’d love if there is hope but know to be fully realistic. We don’t feel movement but we haven’t held them long enough (maybe).
