How are the foal and mare doing? Red cell is essential when dealing with malnourished horses, though I dorm have too much experience.

Hope the mare and foal are doing well, check out something call re feeding Syndrome which is something that you need to know about when rehabbing n feeding starved horses. Also look into getting a worm count done on them, it can make a huge difference in there recovery.

Agreed, I only posted even though it was posted a while back in case the Op or someone else can use that info, having rehabbed many starved horses including young stock n worked on the vet side of Horse breeding for many years, just figured it may help someone. i do hope there ok though.
