Saw the most awesome thing. Can someone point out the design flaws

Someone made a chicken run from the coop to a trampoline. The fence goes completely around the trampoline and the top appears to give shade.

I like it! Only thing I think is that it wouldn't be 100% waterproof, but definitely good for shade/protection. Very nice and tidy looking though. If I had an old trampoline to spare, I would do it. Wouldn't spend $350 on a new one for it though.

I really like the idea, however, I don't think that it very predator proof, from the top or bottom. It's neat because you could probably move it around relatively easily to let the chicks graze on new grass.

Some of the other links posted here states they only let the chickens stay in there during the day. I know usually during the spring people get rid of them on the free section of craigslist.

My only reservations would be if you can't stand up in your run, it's a pain to clean it. I guess if you are going to move it around the yard it would be ok, but for a perminate run, I don't know.

I've seen some folks us the frame after the trampoline is trashed. They disassemble the frame and build it like a hoop coop.
