the chickens don't eat the sawdust.
the one wood I am careful about is black walnut.
from my shop the treated wood is so minute I don't worry about it.
I don't use it in the nests, but I use it on the floor.
I kind of doubt that that lumber mill is sawing treated lumber. usually a lumber mill saws logs to make lumber..
