Thank you, I had a quick look at your link some of the symptoms are similar to zinc or lead poisoning maybe? She just had a wash and as soon as she was in the water she was soaked to the skin, so i guessed her oil gland was maybe blocked or something but its just fine and producing enough oil so i guess she just cant preen herself

It's interesting you said lead poisoning..just bc I have been feeding and watering my duckling with issues from my dishes. I went and looked the dishes up online and the manufacturer is know to have lead in their products..so much that they are investigating a toddlers death in Utah.. so I have switched to plastic type dishes. Completely shocked since they are white and microwavable... Never would have thought. The dishes that my family have been eating off of are now in the garbage

Wow, thats crazy! Goes to show it can be the smallest things sometimes! And that fact that they are being investigated for a death is even worse

So sorry for not getting back! I got completely sidetracked but the duck seems fine now! Shes back out with the rest so maybe the castor oil worked or she just got better herself!
