I have noticed a lot of people like muscovies I never though of that before. I just want to know how many people love them! Say something if you own some.

I kind of ended up a muscovy owner by accident, and I love her!. About a year ago, a few weeks after we bought our house, a lovely muscovy lady showed up at our house. She befriended our hens, and never left! I also have Pekins and Khaki Campbells, but she beats the crap out of them lol. She is very sweet, coos at us, love being petted, and rubs up against us. Before her, my hubbs had said no more ducks, because the ones we had were so noisy and obnoxious, but now, we think we will just stick with muscovies. I recently got her a mate, he
s about a year, though I don't know how old she is. Since I took him out of quarantine, they seem to be getting along well. She doesn't chase him around and beat him up like the other ducks. I hope to eventually get some well mannered sweet littles out of them

I had thought about getting some next spring. Then when we had this cold snap 9 weeks ago one of the sellers had a bunch of adult Muscovy ducks is cages and these two teeny tiny day old ducklings with no heat source and no food or water. They were huddled up together peeping loudly I paid the $8 dollars wrapped them in my jacket and they snuggled up and went immediately to sleep. I now have 2 spoiled rotten almost fully feathered boisterous babies.
