We have a little rescue mallard named fang. We got him when he was only a couple days old. He's been inside, and is almost fully feathered. He escaped the outdoor pen. He can't fly, we saw him in the yard last night. He should hang around , right? I mean there's easy food, water, and other ducks. It was 80 degrees last night. He'll eventually fall in with the others. I'm just worried.

Just catch him they cant run fast and they always corner themselfs. Altho it would be scary for him i guess

He's not old enough to fly. I'd say he's a teen. He's pretty attached to my husband. Last time we did just pick him up, but jeez his camo's effective. We have to find him. We don't have any scary critters cruising the yard at the moment. I guess it is what it is... Oh, I'm just being dumb, he can't fly, he'll turn up. Thanks everyone

Sorry I first read your post as “he’s fully feathered.” I’m tired. Yeah when you see him just grab him.

No, he disappeared. I think the bigger ones may have chased him of. Maybe he scooted under the fence. None of the neighbors have seen him. thanks for asking
