Saying Goodbye and Saving the Flock

Vent is sloppy with diarrhea. I'm forcing eggs and fly grubs. Crop is squishy as it should be in the evening.
Can you post her most recent images of her droppings? And how active is she from a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the most active? For me, when my hen dosen't protest while being picked up by me, it's a bad sign.

What about her abdomen? Have you felt that?
I'm sorry I truly don't have much experience as I've only kept them for 2 years.

After 3 days of keeping sick hen under close observation and doing her treatment, she still doesn't get better, we make the sad decision to cull them and put them out of their misery...

I treated for lice and mites a few days ago.

She hasn't layed an egg in at least 4 weeks.
Is her crop emptying completely overnight? https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...w-to-know-which-one-youre-dealing-with.73607/

Can you get a fecal float to see if worms are part of the problem?

What did you use to treat the lice/mites?

Work on hydration.

Her not laying eggs, she may have a reproductive disorder which can be common. If you lose her and want to find out more, then a necropsy would give you some answers. https://www.metzerfarms.com/poultry-labs.html

Active, probably a 3.
I can easily pick her up, but my chickens are pretty docile. Her abdomen is quite bony.

I used permethrin for the lice/mites. She laid daily until recently. I have been giving her water in a syringe with electrolytes. She has pecked around a bit, but isn't interested in eating her favorites like eggs and meal worms.

Can you maybe give her electrolyte through a syringe and force feed her some eggyolk? Is her crop emptying over night? And can you feel her abdomen to see whether it's normal sized, or big? Squishy or hard? Also is her vent dry?

I've lost a hen to ovarian cancer. Her abdomen got smaller and she only laid eggs for 1-2 months. She had an extremely bad case of diarrhea for several months. We culled her at the age of 1.5 years just about 3 months ago.

Wishing you luck for your hen :hugs
Her crop seems normal. Her poop is liquid, white with a yellow/cream tint

Right now I'm watching the sick hen do a little free-ranging on her own outside. She's got more pep in her step, and she's eating grass and bugs. In the house she lays around, and doesn't move. This seems to be the medicine she needs right now. I will bring her back into the house once she tires out.
