Lost our blue heeler a few years back. I know it has to be very hard for you to lose Spook. Not only was she your baby but also your trusted service dog. I know you will never be able to replace her but in time I hope you find a new special baby to be your trusted service dog. Prayers and thought your way

I am so sorry! It is very hard to lose a beloved friend like that. Just hold the memories close and the pain will eventually lessen.

Oh, my. I know your pain all too well. Lost my best Bud to kidney failure not too long ago. When he also lost his joy of eating, I knew it was time. But it didn't make it any easier. I still tear up when I think of him and now for you and Spook. I don't know of anything that really helps with the lost, except to know we made the best choice that would could for them in the end. You are in my thoughts, peace to your heart.
