Saying goodbye

Hi just an update on my 4 babies. It seems that we do have a rooster. Started to crow here and there, but the last few days hes been crowing more. One of the most emotional moments I've had since I've had them. Sad to say we aren't allowed to keep Roosters where I live. So today it was a final goodbye..
Have any of you had to do that before? I can't believe how attached I've gotten to them all. Does it affect the other girls now that he's gone?

Yes I have. Its extremely hard. He was my best buddy.
