Vaccinated for what? IMHO you don't want chicks vaccinated for Mareks. Here is an article on it.

Most people do not vaccinate for them. Best practice is bio-security, isolation

You don't happen to know where I can find IB vaccines do you? I've having a hard time finding them, and they are a necessity for me at this point.

You have to do what you feel is right for you. Are your birds vaccinated against infectious bronchitis or any other respiratory issues?

No they are not, but I have it on my property...I live in a wildlife area so they picked it up from some bird who stopped by in the yard, I believe.

I hatch eggs though, and I want to vaccinate the birds that will be out in my yard (will be my flock).

I've left a message at Dr. Hulbert's in sptbg, hopefully they will be able to help me out.

That's odd I thought I had posted but I guess it didn't go through. As for people not touching your chicks I would suggest putting them in something people can only look at but not touch, like a crate with wire over the top etc. I always ask if the chicks are vaccinated before buying and always quarantine even if they are, just to make sure because you never know.

Also am interested in the FOE's, my fiancé loves them and plans on getting more, but haven't seen any for sale.
