Scabs on chicken skin?

Hi! I have a recently processed rooster and after finishing the processing noticed there are “scabs” on its skin? Is this normal and is it safe to eat? I would hate to throw this bird out seeing it was used for a purpose and I do not want that to go to waste. Thanks!

Scabs can be removed if you want. Most of the time I won't bother removing them if there's lots. Yes I do still eat the birds.

Fighting scabs. No issues.
If you find green/purple bruising, soaking in salt water helps
