Scalding pot

We used a 33 qt. canner for scalding one of our WMs a month or so ago, and he barely fit. Our BRs are a few pounds bigger than he was and now I'm trying to think of how to scald them without breaking the bank! (And I like the skin on.) It's a question I hadn't thought of when they were cute tiny little poults.

I used a metal trash can placed on cinder blocks with my camp stove under it for heat. I had to put it on a smaller cinder block to get it close to the bottom of the can so it would heat the water better. It worked pretty well....
