I was checking my hens for bumblefoot. I seem to have an epidemic (ugghhh).
I noticed on one of my hens that the bottom of her foot was scaly. It looked liked like scaly leg mites kind of but on the pad of her foot.
What the heck is it? Is it scaly leg mites on her foot? Or does she have something else? I haven't seen anything like that before and I've never heard of that in the description of scaly leg mites.
Any help would be appreciated. I just really don't know what it is. I have so much to deal with with the bumblefoot that my tired brain can't even comprehend anything else. (It took me several minutes to come up with the word comprehend and I still don't think that's quite right, my brain really is that unfocused!
)
Thanks for any help/ideas!!
