scaley leg mites? or dry muddy legs?

not sure if it's scaley leg mites or just dirty. I live in the PNW so it's been raining and really muddy out.

If you wash the legs and they still look the same you could be dealing with scaley leg mites. A close up of the leg will help.

I would use an old tooth brush and give her legs a good scrubbing. If they clean up it should just be mud. If not go with it is mites. Either way after cleaning them I would put some Vaseline on them and add some diatomaceous earth to their dust bath. Hope that helps.

Update:she walked through a puddle and "washed" her legs. They look fine. Back to normal.
