My entire flock has had scaley leg mites for months. I feel like Ive tried everything and I cant get rid of them! I bathed them all, applied vaseline to legs, cleaned out and scrubbed coop. Dicotamous earth and the mite powder, ivermectin. I need help please.

Get a small plastic cup/container, put as much Vaseline as needed for one bird, put a moderate amount of any type of insect/mite repellent (7 dust, Mite powder, “Viper Dust for gardens”, etc.) Do this for at LEAST 1 week or so. The problem should cease, I use this method and it always works. Good luck!

Have you search the forum for remedies? This is what I've collected in my notes ....

Scaly Legs - Soak in warm water & mild dish soap. With toothbrush scrub with vinegar, garlic or Neem Oil. Smear leg with Coconut Oil. Clean out coop; remove shavings; spray Orange Insect Spray or DE, spread lavender, lemon grass, thyme, wormwood in shavings.

Many use castor oil or vaseline, and I have had success with crisco shortening, applied and rubbed into scales of legs and feet once a week for several weeks. Do you have any pictures of the legs? Most of the time leg mites are only found in a small percentage of a flock, usually in older or sickly chickens.

Nu-Stock, put it on roosts as well.

That never crossed my mind, but it was such a mess trying to rub a Vaseline product on. Lol. I ended up going the ivermectin route. Next time, I will give the cooking spray a shot.
You think they will get the wrong idea? That I am oiling them up for dinner?
LOL.
