Scaley leg mites!!! Tried everything...please help

That never crossed my mind, but it was such a mess trying to rub a Vaseline product on. Lol. I ended up going the ivermectin route. Next time, I will give the cooking spray a shot.
You think they will get the wrong idea? That I am oiling them up for dinner?
They sell chicken feet at grocery stores around here, mmmmm good with Tiger Sauce!

My entire flock has had scaley leg mites for months. I feel like Ive tried everything and I cant get rid of them! I bathed them all, applied vaseline to legs, cleaned out and scrubbed coop. Dicotamous earth and the mite powder, ivermectin. I need help please.

So for our rooster bc he had so much stuff going on I decided to dip his feet in gasoline, then I rubbed with A&D ointment. I just filled a small container and put his feet under. Many people will shake their head and disagree. That it can hurt the respiratory system etc. I dont disagree, IMO it's better to get it over with so they aren't suffering from the mites. Ive read of some people having them months or years. In my case we just had alot going on with this bird, so I thought one less thing for him to have. The fumes can be strong etc. But this works in 2 weeks. Just do it once a week.
Safety for the bird
1.Keep their head up or covered away from the fumes
2. If they have feathers on legs pat dry with towel after you dip
