Scaley Leg Mites?

Here is a picture of mine

I highly recommend that you soak those legs in a container of warm epsom salts water for about 20 minutes to loosen scales, loosen debris and mite feces between the scales. Then take a soft toothbrush and gently scrub between the scales as best as you can to remove debris and mite feces. Then apply your scaly leg mite spray or use another oil based product until healed. You'll probably have to do this at least once a week until healed. This is going to take time.

X 2. And please use any oil BESIDES motor oil or kerosene. Pam spray, castor oil, vaseline, vegetable oil, or Nustock which has sulfur and pine oil.

Ivermectin 1% cattle dewormer can be used. For large breed poultry give about 3/10 cc per bird treated orally. I could not get some bought birds cleared up using oils/ointments and was advised to use the ivermectin - cleared the scale mites up after one dose. It is all I have used since then - actually give an oral dose once per year (early spring) to all my poultry for de-worming & de-lousing regardless of symptoms shown or not. Use piperazine in water in fall as a rotated secondary de-wormer.
If unfamiliar with ivermectin, contact your local veterinarian or Ag extension for information or use the Web. Good Luck!

I have bathed my chickens legs as advised in epsom salts , have used a comercial treatment for scaley leg mite still no improvement
The legs have large raised scales like the picture but no Debris can be seen under the scales . What do I do the chickens are laying well and have examined them and they appear to have nothing else wrong.

Could you post another clearer picture of the legs without the fencing? Using an old toothbrush once a week with warm soapy water to gently scrub the scales, drying the legs, and applying vaseline, castor oil, or vegetable oil and rubbing into the scales, and repeat every week is pretty standard treatment. It may take several weeks to months to notice a difference for new scales to grow in. The epsom salts are soothing.
I just noticed your other picture back a few posts, never mind about the picture.
