Hi everyone!

I was out giving all my birds a few snacks, and took some photos of my rooster. His legs have always looked a little off to me, but I noticed that his scales look a bit raised. Wondering if this could possibly be scaly leg mites? I haven’t noticed any other symptoms on him or any of my other chickens.
I treat the coop regularly with DE, and weekly with a garlic/oil spray.

do his legs look normal? Or should I be treating him?

(He’s about a year old, light Brahma)

He does have some raised scales and looks like an injury (maybe from broken feathers) on the leg too.
I would treat him for SLM. Apply some type of oil or something like Nu-Stock cream to the legs every couple of days for several weeks until the legs are healed.

Okay, great... thank you!
