Scaly Leg HELP!

This has been going on for a while now, Scaly leg, (for those of you who dont know its when some bugs go under the scales of the hens leg and poop, causing the scales to lift up, looking bumpy and horrible) started when i bought some lovely BO's now i found alot of my hens have it! i've tried painting on oil on there legs, but no affect happend! any more advise? i realy want my girls without this scaly leg! Help!!!!

You have to just coat their legs in the oil/Vaseline/what ever you are using. Do this once or twice a day for a week and you should be good. They will look like they still have them when treatment is done. They have to shed the old scaled I think. A good scrub of the legs will help too.
