    Hi all,

Just wondering what's the safest way to treat my hen, she has just hatched 4 eggs and I have noticed she has scaly leg so am wondering what's the safest way to treat her so I don't harm her babies.

    Thanks in advance

[IMG] vasoline on the legs for a week or so to smother them and i would give ivermectin BY MOUTH. it it can be found at tractor supply or feed stores in the horse section. it is apple flavored . take her from the chicks and give her a pea sized amount. some of the chicks will probably get the goo on them so rub it in and try not to put it on too heavy. its says. 1.87 % and it cost about 3 $ If one hen has it they probably all do. you can treat the coop too. I THINK its dawn soap and vinegar mixed in a spray bottle but not sure on that.
