Scaly Leg Mites? 😕 Help - how many times do I treat?!

I noticed the grey patch on my roo first... Tried to take a variety of pictures as different birds walked past...

I'm going with yes this poor girl has it the worst, so I smothered her in Vaseline...

Does she have a bumble too?!

Sigh . Gave everyone a good leg dunk in veggie oil and a spray down with permethrin before bed tonight.... Replaced bedding, sprayed nesting boxes, walls, roosts, etc with permethrin....
What I'm wondering now is how many times you think I should do the oil treatment?! I don't have a walk in coop (), so catching them all is a little on the stressful side... (Tonight I closed their pop door, and put a roost in their run, with mild success).

My Spazzy, adopted with that name... bcz of these damned mites!
The kidhad no idea she had them! He wondered why her toes were growing in every direction!!!
Anyway, I looked it up & dipped her legs each day in OLIVE OIL!! It took a week. I dipped everyone.. I only had 6 girls at the time & all were pretty friendly.
She used to have a spastic strut, hence her name...
Although her walk is no longer funky, she still has messed up feet. Some toes are missing nails! And the other toes point upward! Difficult for her to scratch!!!
My poor baby, she’s also visually impaired... I think she’s blind in one eye. She misses her mark all the time. She’s also chased out often... I feed her separately so I know she’s at least getting nutrition!
I’ve had her about 2-1/2 years & she’s doing great & I love her! She lays 1 blue egg on most days!!
