scaly leg mites, cochins, and avoiding poison

Hi all,

What is this Tea Tree Oil and where can I get it?? I have been fighting against Scaly Leg Mites for quite some time now. First my Polish Hen got it and then the OE Rooster. I think that the Silkie had it too.

Vaseline is very sticky and got my Silkie looking very dirty. As a matter of fact, I had to give her couple of baths.

Vet r/x or Vaseline will work Just fine, but if you don't want to get your hands dirty, just get some WD40 and spray there legs real good and then in about a week spray again works every time.
