I got some new older girls given to me recently. One of them appears to have scaly leg mites. The others seem ok. I plan on soaking her, and applying Vaseline. I’ve also heard to give ivermectin. My question is how—topical or oral. And should I treat everyone even though the others seem fine? And does the bedding HAVE to be changed. It’s right in the middle of winter, and we use deep litter method to help keep the coop warm. Is it possible I can put down a munch of first Saturday lime or DE to treat the coop? I have both on hand.
