i have a hen that has scaly leg mites and its looks pretty bad.i have treated her with vasoline but have read old threads on the subject.someone said that tea tree oil is the best and works the fastest.true?also they said that scaly leg mites live their entire life on the legs of the chickens not on the roustes or nesting beds so its not neccessary to clean out the entire coop.you would need to do that for body mites.true?
thanks for any info.
