Thanks for your feedback . I’m disappointed it has happened as am constantly cleaning coop and picking up poo! Think when I bought some more hens this year they could have brought it in.It is pretty hard to see in the picture but it seems like your chook may have mites.
This is fairly common in chickens, and there are many ways to treat this.
A way to prevent this is to keep your chooks away from other birds and keep the coop clean
I prefer to use petroleum jelly on my chickens because it is easy to find in the shops
You will basically just have to use petroleum jelly on their legs each day until the legs of your chook are back to normal
You could alternatively use oils, but it is easier to use petroleum jelly.
