Scaly Leg

So i recently got a pair of chickens with scaly leg mites. Im not to worried cause ive had the problem before. But it seems that a lot of the scales are gone. Do they grow back?

Yes, I'm pretty sure they will grow back. Sometimes chickens partially molt the scales on their legs, so I don't see why lost scales couldn't grow back in.

Some photos of scaly legs don't look much different than normal. I am so paranoid about mine getting them.
