One of my hens has a cracked and peeling beak? Also, her comb is a bit white. Not sure what could be going on- did some research about mites- but I’m not sure that’s what it is and don’t want to treat her for that unnecessarily. I snapped a picture of her beak.

It looks like the tip of the upper beak was broken off. If the quick wasn't too damaged it will grow back in time. Feeding her a wet mash (feed mixed with water) will help her eat better, and raising up food and water dishes so she can scoop better with the lower beak will help her. I wouldn't do anything else, it will take some time, beaks grow slowly. Could have happened trying to get something on the other side of wire, or on a feeder. I don't think the white on the comb is anything to worry about, looks a tiny bit dry, but normal.
