Scared duckling

We recently hatched a single duck that almost didn't make it. It survived and every time I saw it he would get so excited and try to go near you and when you left he would get sad and cry. So we decided to get some chickens for friends. The duck and chickens are both about a week old. But now the duck is super scared of me when I come near him. I'm not sure what happened. I think it may be because the new little chickens are scared of me so he is taking after them. Any idea what to do to make him less scared? I'm not sure if my ducks are naturally scared of people because the ones I keep outside with the chickens are scared of me too but the chickens are not. They are all Swedish ducks

Awh. A lot ot swedish ducks are skiddish when it comes to human contact, the only way you could reform the bond is to maybe treat him/her and spend lots of time comforting them make sure not to force it on the duckling though otherwise itll associate you with fear and horrible stuff
