Welcome! I had to look up what a battery hen was. How sad for these oh-so-wonderful creatures! So glad they were rescued and are enjoying a better life with you and the children at your school!

They were like zombies when they arrived - no natural behaviours. The love of the children has already got them chasing for treats, gathering at the door of the run when they hear footsteps & digging for worms. They will be the most loved and spoiled chickens in England for the rest of their lives with 300 new friends!
